Champion Band Boosters
The Champion Band Boosters is a 501c3 organization that supports our band program and students by assisting the CHS band directors in the tactical implementation (events, contests, programs, etc.) and long-term strategies of the program through volunteerism, fundraising, communications, student recruitment and advocacy.
Our involvement enables the band directors to focus on developing the talent of our students, improving the marching shows and facilitating performances that showcase the band.
Fine Art programs do not get their equal share of funding even though they have more than their fair share of student participation. Therefore, the Boosters help to supplement the limited funds that are allocated to the band program.
The best thing you can do is become active in the Boosters through your time, talents and financial support. That doesn’t mean you have to volunteer for everything, but your participation is encouraged and appreciated. It takes an army of volunteers to make things run smoothly for the band and although they won’t admit it, your teenagers actually like having their parents involved in some band activities!
